Data transfer to third parties and outside the EU

We only transfer your personal data to third parties if you have given your consent to the transmission, if transmission is necessary for the performance of the offers or services you wish to use, or if there is otherwise a legal authorisation for the transmission and the protection of your legitimate interests is ensured.

Apart from the use of Google Fonts, Google Maps and subsequently named companies, no personal information that we collect is processed in any third country. These services are provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Regarding the use of Google Fonts and Google Maps, an adequate level of data protection by Google Inc. will be provided as part of its participation in the ‘Privacy Shield’ and the measures taken by Google regarding data protection and data security in the EU. See also the notes on Google Fonts and Google Maps.

The following explanations provide an overview of third-party providers as well as their content, including links to their privacy policies, which contain further notes on data processing and ways to opt out, some of which are already mentioned here.

Google Web Fonts

We use web fonts provided by Google for a uniform representation of fonts. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. To do this, your browser must establish a connection to Google's servers. As a result, Google learns that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of presenting our online services in a consistent and appealing manner. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

For further information about Google Web Fonts, please see Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
You can configure your browser so that fonts are not loaded by Google's servers (e.g. by installing add-ons). If your browser does not support Google Fonts, or you block access to Google servers, the text will be displayed in the system's standard font. Please note that our page will then no longer be displayed using our screen design.

Google Maps

We use the Google Maps mapping service via an API in order to present our online services in an appealing manner and to make it easy to find the locations we specify on the website. The use of Google Maps requires your IP address to be stored. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

For further information regarding the handling of user data, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en&gl=fr.

If you disagree with the future transfer of your data to Google while using Google Maps, you can completely deactivate the Google Maps web service by disabling the JavaScript application in your browser, in which case Google Maps and the map display on this website can no longer be used. Please note that if JavaScript is disabled, other functions that we would like to offer you on our website will also no longer work.

Cloudflare

To secure this website and optimise loading times, CloudFlare is used as a Content Delivery Network (CDN), provided by CloudFlare Inc, Inc 665 3rd St. 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Therefore, all requests must be routed through their servers and consolidated into non-deactivatable statistics. According to the company's own information, the raw data collected there is deleted normally within four hours or at the latest after three days. Here you can find information about the data collected there and about security and privacy at CloudFlare. This data is processed in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our interest lies in the maintenance, protection and improvement of the operation of our online services. For more information, see CloudFlare's privacy policy here: https://www.cloudflare.com/security-policy

Smartlook

To ensure the quality of our online services, we use the ‘Smartlook’ analysis tool from smartlook.com, s.r.o., Milady Horakove 13, 602 00 Brno, Czech Republic, which enables the anonymised evaluation of website usage. Anonymous usage logs are stored in accordance with the law and are automatically deleted after 3 days. These data are processed in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the maintenance, protection and improvement of the operation of our online services. For more information, please refer to Smartlook's Privacy Policy: https://www.smartlook.com/de/privacy. You can deactivate Smartlook via the following link: https://www.smartlook.com/opt-out

Cookies are small text files stored on your hard drive by your browser. We also use session cookies. These serve to create a clear connection between you and our website. For this purpose, only a random number is saved. The session cookie is automatically deleted when the browser is closed.

If you do not want to allow cookies on your computer (or another device), you can disable them in your internet browser. However, this may affect the usability and functionality of the website. These data are processed on the basis of cookies for the purpose of operating the website in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Consent with Borlabs Cookie
Our website uses the Borlabs Cookie Consent technology to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies in your browser or for the use of certain technologies and to document this in accordance with data protection legislation. The provider of this technology is Borlabs GmbH, Rübenkamp 32, 22305 Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as Borlabs).
When you visit our website, a Borlabs cookie is stored in your browser, in which the consents you have given or the withdrawal of these consents are saved. This data is not shared with the provider of Borlabs Cookie.
The collected data will be stored until you ask us to delete it, or until you delete the Borlabs cookie yourself, or until the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory legal retention periods remain unaffected. Details on data processing by Borlabs Cookie can be found at https://borlabs.io/kb/what-information-does-borlabs-cookie-store/.
Borlabs Cookie Consent Technology is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Our website uses the following cookies:

Fe_typo_user

Storage period: Four weeks.

i18next
Session cookie for the purpose of animation on the website. No personal data is stored.

GDPR pop-up
This cookie is created when you click on the confirmation link for the general cookie notice on the website. In this way, the application remembers that the notice does not need to be shown again on the next page.

cookieconsent_status
This cookie is created when you click on the confirmation link for the general cookie notice on the website. In this way, the application remembers that the notice does not need to be shown again on the next page.

Matomo

On our websites we use a version of Matomo implemented on our own servers. This is open-source analytics software intended for the statistical evaluation of visitors. Using this evaluation, we particularly want to understand which of our pages are accessed and how often. However, we do not want to understand who is accessing these pages: the implementation of Matomo on our server does not use any cookies. We only store anonymised user data for the purpose of collecting general statistical values without thoroughly analysing user behaviour. A comprehensive analysis of user behaviour is also not possible due to the anonymously collected data. The IP address transmitted in the server log is anonymised on our server before being sent to the Matomo installation and is replaced by a random IP address. It is also not possible to trace the IP address on the basis of the anonymised data, as time entries are randomised by Matomo.

The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If contact is made for the purpose of establishing a contractual relationship, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Data transfer to a third party and outside the EU

We only transfer your personal data to third parties if you have consented to the transfer, if the transfer is necessary for the provision of the offers or services that you wish to use, or if there is a legal transfer authorisation and the protection of your legitimate interests is ensured.

With the exception of the use of Google Analytics, Google Fonts and Google Maps as well as the companies listed below, none of the personal data we collect is processed in a third country. The provider of these services is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

As regards the use of Google Analytics, Google Fonts and Google Maps, an adequate level of data protection is ensured by Google Inc. within the framework of their participation in the so-called “Privacy Shield” and by the data protection and data security measures taken by Google in the EU. In this regard, please also see the remarks concerning Google Analytics, Google Fonts and Google Maps.

The following provides an overview of third-party providers and their content, as well as links to their privacy policies, which contain further information on the processing of data and, as partly mentioned already herein, options for objection (so-called opt-out):

Google Web Fonts

To ensure a uniform display of fonts, we use so-called Web Fonts, which are provided by Google. When a page is opened, your browser loads the required Web Fonts into your browser cache so that texts and fonts can be displayed correctly. For this purpose, the browser you are using must establish a connection to Google's servers. As a result, Google is informed that a request has been sent to our website via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts takes place to ensure a uniform and appropriate display of our online services. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

You can find more information about Google Web Fonts in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=da.
You can configure your browser so that fonts are not loaded by Google servers (e.g. by installing add-ons). If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts, or if you block access to Google servers, text will be displayed using the system's default font. Please note that in this case, our website will no longer match our screen design.

Google Maps

To enable appropriate display of our online offerings and to make it easier to find the locations that we offer on the website, we use an API from the mapping service Google Maps. In order for the functions of Google Maps to be used, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transmitted to one of Google's servers in the USA and stored there. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

You can find more information about the handling of user data in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=da&gl=fr.

If you do not agree to the future transfer of your data to Google in the context of using Google Maps, you have the option of completely deactivating the Google Maps web service by switching off the use of JavaScript in your browser. Google Maps and thus the map display on this website cannot be used in this case. Please note that deactivating JavaScript will also mean that other functions that we offer on our website will no longer work.

Cloudflare

To secure this website and optimise loading times, the CDN (“Content Delivery Network”) CloudFlare from CloudFlare Inc, Inc 665 3rd St. 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA is used. Therefore, all requests are necessarily routed through their server and compiled into non-deactivatable statistics. According to their own information, the collected raw data is normally deleted again within 4 hours and at the latest after 3 days. You can find information here about the data collected there, as well as about security and data protection at CloudFlare. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our interest consists in maintaining, securing and improving the operation of our online offering. You can find further information in CloudFlare's privacy policy via this link: https://www.cloudflare.com/security-policy

Smartlook

To ensure the quality of our online service, we use the analysis tool “Smartlook” from smartlook.com, s.r.o., Milady Horakove 13, 602 00 Brno, Czech Republic, which enables an anonymised evaluation of the use of the website. Anonymised usage logs are stored in accordance with statutory regulations and automatically deleted after 3 days. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our interest consists in maintaining, securing and improving the operation of our online service.
