Collection from slaughterhouses

Daka collects animal by-products from abattoirs, cutting plants and slaughterhouses throughout Denmark, among others.

Customised production

We primarily handle animal by-products such as casings, fat, bones and trimmings from pigs, but also from cattle, poultry and other types of animal.

Equipment, collection and transport are arranged in cooperation with the individual customer and integrated into daily work routines.

Recycling

Animal by-products from pig slaughterhouses are processed at Daka SARVAL in Løsning.

The by-products are recirculated here into new products, primarily protein and fat products for animal feed, so that the nutrients are utilised again instead of going to waste.
