FAQ: Booking and collection
Afhentning kan tilmeldes via appen (Pig Up & Ko), via customer login, kontakt til kundeservice på telefon 79 28 40 47 eller tast-selv på telefon 70 22 55 44.
The piglet container must be emptied when full or at the latest 3 days after filling has begun. In the case of refrigeration or freezing, the deadline is 5 days.
The lid must be kept closed and be able to seal tightly, so that scavengers cannot gain access to the contents.
We organise collections on an ongoing basis, based on routes and bookings, and collect items every weekday and on some Saturdays around public holidays.
In some cases, we can collect your items on the very same day you book, and even within a very short time.
Specialafhentning gennemføres på faste ugedage afhængigt af region. Der kan forekomme ændringer i forbindelse med helligdage.

Difficulties can result in a wasted collection and a fee. Please feel free to contact us so that we can help with a solution in advance.
FAQ: Prices and fees
You do not pay per collection, but for the number of animals or containers we collect. Prices vary by animal type, and current prices are available in our app.
Fees are most often due because we were unable to collect the registered animals (failed collection). This can be, for example, because the animal was not placed at the collection point, or because for one reason or another we could not reach the collection point due to conditions on your property. You may also have received a spoilage fee, which is due to poor raw material quality.
FAQ: Rules and legislation
There are statutory time limits for how long fallen stock may be stored before they must be registered for collection. The time limit depends on the method of storage and is calculated from the time the animal is euthanised or found dead.
At the collection or storage site: Register for collection no later than 24 hours after the animal has been euthanised or found dead.
- In closed container: Register for collection when the container is full or at the latest 5 days after it has been put into use.
- In a closed container in a fridge or freezer: Book collection when the container is full or no later than 3 weeks after it has been put into use.
- In refrigeration systems: Fallen stock may be stored until the facility is full, but for a maximum of 6 weeks.
- In fish farming facilities: Fallen stock can be stored until the facility is full, though for a maximum of 3 months.
Note: Special rules apply to certain ruminants. These animals must be registered for collection no later than 24 hours after being euthanised or found dead, and must not be stored in frozen containers or refrigeration plants.
Fallen Stock must be stored so that scavengers cannot access them and there is no risk of the spread of disease. Animals at the collection point must therefore be covered, e.g. with a carcass cover, while containers must be kept closed with tight-fitting lids. There are also rules on how long fallen stocks animals may be stored before they must be registered for collection.
On this page, Collection point requirements, you can read more about both the legal requirements and the requirements that apply when collecting from Daka.
Here you will also find information on the layout of the collection point and the conditions that must be in place to ensure a safe and efficient collection with regard to both animals, people and drivers.
