Governance
Framework for operations and decisions
Daka's activities are tightly regulated and place high demands on operational reliability. The company's management ensures clear frameworks so that operations can be carried out safely and predictably – even when requirements and framework conditions change.
The frameworks are designed to work in practice for employees and managers in production, transport and quality.
Common rules and responsibilities
Daka is part of SARIA and operates on the basis of the group's Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets out common rules on integrity, business conduct and collaboration, and applies to both management and employees.
For Daka, the code acts as a management tool that supports consistent decision-making and collaboration – internally and in relationships with customers and partners.
Monitoring and development
Daka works systematically with monitoring through inspections, audits and operational experience. Deviations and opportunities for improvement are used to adjust processes and workflows so that requirements are met consistently and operations remain stable.
Collaboration on frameworks and regulation
Daka is heavily influenced by regulations and frameworks that affect operations, sales and the recycling of by-products.
We therefore actively cooperate with authorities and trade organisations regarding framework conditions and the practical application of the rules.
Value chain requirements
Daka's governance also covers cooperation with suppliers, hauliers and other partners. We require compliance with rules, agreements and common standards – including our Supplier Code of Conduct and standards for collection and handling.
Follow-up is part of the ongoing collaboration and is a prerequisite for uniform quality and stable operations across the value chain.
